Professional Organizer Named Rising Star In Pensacola

Updated: Feb 2

Orchid Organizing is thrilled to announce that Orchid Organizing’s owner and founder, Kate Waldo Jones, has been named a Rising Star 2022 by Pensacola InWeekly Magazine.

InWeekly is a digital and print publication in the Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, Gulf Breeze, Milton, Pace, and Navarra areas – reaching a weekly readership of over 30,000 people. InWeekly created Rising Stars in 2008 to recognize up-and-coming leaders in the Pensacola area. Each year, with the help of residents and local businesses, these Rising Stars are hand-picked from a field of over 200 nominations to be recognized for their exceptional professionalism and leadership in the community.

Here’s a sneak peek at Kate’s interview with InWeekly:

What makes your job 'click' for you?

What drives me every day is being able to help people live easier, more enjoyable lives. Life is too short not to enjoy it while also making an impact. I am so grateful for the opportunity to help others create more impact while operating in their zone-of-genius.

What's the best advice you've ever been given?

"Give yourself grace." As an entrepreneur, we grind, push, and hustle to "make it" yet we forget to give ourselves grace. We are human, we make mistakes, and we need breaks. Grace is the most important form of self-care.

Tell us about the best/most rewarding project you've ever worked on.

Increasing one of my clients' revenue by $1.6M has been one of my favorite and most rewarding experiences. By streamlining their processes and making their team more efficient at their core we also gave the CEO and COO an opportunity to step away from daily operations to focus on growth.

What keeps you in Pensacola?

Like many people, I took time to reevaluate my situation during 2020 and chose to relocate my business headquarters to Pensacola permanently. The gorgeous beaches, collaborative entrepreneurial spirit, and iced honey lattes literally make my new home feel like paradise.
